Distillers Show Punk Rock Lives Loud

In front of a super friendly Punk Rock (my caps) crowd at the Ogden Theater last Saturday night, The Distillers played a too-short set that breathed life back into the old punk rock they came from. There was crowd surfing, kids, slam dancing, and loud music – as it should be.

As the packed-in, bouncing crowd sang along to most of the songs, Brody Dalle and Tony “Bradley” Bevilacqua just kept throwing out song after speeding song, encouraging the youthful magic punk rock was always meant to be.
