Ganja White Night, the two-man EDM artist group, brought electric energy to Mission Ballroom in Denver on May 30th. Following past ritual, their Mission Ballroom set is the pre-party to their annual Wobble Rocks shows in Morrison, this being their fourth year. The venue was packed with EDM enthusiasts from the front to the back, with high-energy ravers claiming their spots on the rail and more laid-back fans swaying in the rows just behind the dancefloor.
Opening for the headliner, Myrias, Stylust, Xotix, and Smoakland set the exotic atmosphere. Unlike many other artists, Ganja White Night gave their openers the opportunity to shine, letting them put on a full production with big screen visuals, lasers, and long set times.
The brief intermission before Ganja was to come on stage had fans in excited anticipation. All among the crowd, people with massive fans were cooling off those around them, preparing for the thrill of the artist many had waited the whole year to see.
The low rumble of music began to fade in, and the murmur of the crowd came to a hushed whisper. Out walked the two men, taking place before their DJ deck. Their greeting brought roars through the crowd, and with that their set began.
Their production brought fans to a whole different realm, with their big screen visuals bringing to life their all-famous animated character, Mr. Wobble. Not only did the bass and blaring tunes vibrate the souls of everyone in the crowd, but their movie-like visuals, smoke, fire, and glowing lasers mesmerized the masses.
Though this was their tour debuting their new Sprouted album, their set at Mission Ballroom brought feelings of nostalgia, playing all their renowned original hits. Everywhere you looked, fans were entranced in the experience, flowing with the music and getting lost in the vibration.
Once again, Ganja White Night gave their fans an unforgettable experience. The music, the visuals, and the energy of the crowd became a night to remember. Until next year!
