Rezz returned to Red Rocks Amphitheater for her annual “Rezz Rocks” production on October 18th and 19th. In spirit of the Halloween season, she gave fans the ultimate spooky experience, “A Nightmare on Rezz Street.” The excitement and anticipation of Rezz’s annual show had Red Rocks completely sold out.
The introduction of her set brought Halloween Horror films to life, starting with the all-famous Saw quote “Do you want to play a game?”. With that, the crowd roared in anticipation of her entrancing production to come. Throughout her set she brought stompy dark bass and otherworldly sounds, incorporating deeply unsettling yet wholly satisfying voices of horror throughout. She kept the energy alive, bouncing from fast-paced to slower BPMs. She played a satisfying mix of unheard-of songs and well-known beats, amplifying their original sound with VIP versions. Rezz is one of the few DJs who can blend many genres like deep bass, mid-tempo electro, and industrial techno, making it all merge into over an hour of musical perfection.
Rezz not only gave fans the dark Halloween electronic beats that everyone was anticipating, but she brought visuals that exceeded expectations. Her hypnotic visual effects combined with nightmare worthy scenes gave chills throughout the crowd, drawing screams of excitement during her whole set. From the lowest levels of Red Rocks to the very top, everyone was in awe of her absolutely mesmerizing graphics. The combination of a massive portal shaped LED screen, light bars, lasers, and her signature hpyno-design goggles made her vision of a haunting set come to life.
Rezz once again blew it out of the park, keeping the packed 70 rows of fans completely entranced and lost in her melodies. Many don’t know the capacity of Red Rocks, but her sold out show brought over 9,500 people to dance together under the moonlight. Her hypnotically haunting visuals combined with her all-famous deep trance bass sounds shook the masses to their core. For the seventh year in a row, Rezz brought her captivating production skills to life at Red Rocks, giving people the Halloween-horror infused energy that they wanted.
