Sofi Tukker Shows Red Rocks Global Dance Love and Luster

Dance/Electronic duo Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern – also known as Sofi Tukker – owned Red Rocks for at least their 2nd appearance – and graced Colorado for the 3rd time in less than a year and a half – last Friday night. As they have many times in the past, the duo kicked out beautiful dance beats in front of a sold out venue.

Their electrifying dance-y jungle pop music filled the cold, snowy and “Wet” night in Colorado, warming it up to just the right temperature. The cold, however, didn’t detour the crowd, and may have even inspired more dancing up and down the unmatchable venues sandstone rows and stairs. The beats seemed to bounce off the ancient rocks in just the right cadence, dropping onto everyone’s head and heart with a dollop of joy. For just under 90 minutes, Sofi Tukker beguiled and enchanted the audience of global dance fans, covering a setlist of at least 15 songs.
The duo were joined onstage by Bob’s Dance Shop who threw moves to die for all night, making sue that dancing was in prime order for everyone, for the rest of the evening. With their multi-lingual abilities and massive talent, Sofi Tukker received well-deserved ovations from sweaty, glowing fans of all ages in that cold air. The steam from the crowd must have been visible from all the surrounding highways!
